Art Wheel Studio — Social Media & Ads Strategy for an Art School in Texas

Art Wheel Studio — Social Media & Ads Strategy for an Art School in Texas

From occasional posts to a clear marketing system that brings families to classes and seasonal camps all year round.

About the Client

Art Wheel Studio is a local art school in Roanoke, TX. They offer after-school programs,
art camps, and birthday parties for kids and teens who want to create, explore, and grow through art.

The Challenge

  • No clear social media strategy — posts were created “when there was time”.
  • Parents didn’t fully understand the studio’s programs, schedule, and value.
  • Seasonal offers (camps, events, holidays) were not fully promoted online.
  • The studio needed a system to regularly attract new families from the local area, not just word of mouth.

Project Goals

  • Build a clear online presence that reflects the studio’s mission and aesthetics.
  • Increase inquiries for regular classes, seasonal camps, and birthday parties.
  • Create a content and ads system that the studio can use long-term.

Strategy & Approach

  1. Brand & positioning. Clarified the value of Art Wheel Studio for parents and kids, defined key messages and tone of voice.
  2. Content system. Developed a monthly content structure for Instagram and Facebook: educational posts, behind-the-scenes content, student work, teacher stories, and clear program explanations.
  3. Campaigns for key offers. Created separate campaigns for:
    • after-school art classes,
    • seasonal art camps,
    • birthday parties and special events.
  4. Local ads. Set up Meta ads targeting parents within driving distance of Roanoke, TX.
  5. Landing structure. Helped structure information so parents could quickly understand “what, for whom, when, and how to enroll”.

What I Delivered

  • Social media strategy for Instagram & Facebook.
  • Content pillars and a monthly posting plan.
  • Creative briefs for Reels, photos, and event coverage.
  • Ad creatives and copy for Meta Ads (classes, camps, events).
  • Recommendations for future campaigns and collaborations.

Results

After implementing the strategy, the studio received a steady flow of inquiries from local families and
became more recognizable in the community. Parents started to clearly understand the programs, schedule,
and benefits for their kids, which made the decision to enroll much easier.

Today, Art Wheel Studio has a repeatable system for promoting regular classes, seasonal camps, and special events
through social media and targeted ads instead of relying only on word of mouth.

Highlights

  • Clear positioning and messaging for parents and kids.
  • Consistent social media presence instead of random posts.
  • Local visibility through targeted Meta ads around Roanoke, TX.
  • A strategy the studio can reuse and scale each season.
